That doesn't sound good, but I love it when Carl pushes me around because he put his heart and muscles into it. Because of my high-risk pregnancy, my OB told me to take things easy as early as my 20 week mark. She told me that I was not to walk more than 15 minutes nor stand for 30 minutes. She wants me to take a rest as much as possible, eat well, and don't do heavy household chores. With all these limitations, getting bored is easy. I enjoy being outside and staying inside our apartment all day is not fun at all!! Carl thought that a wheelchair would be handy and so we found and bought one for me.

We have been to the nearby park a number of times now. I will walk sometimes, especially when the sidewalk is too rough, but he pushes the wheelchair most of the time. We as well have been to the W&OD trail, Great Falls Park, and Washington DC National Zoo, where he pushed the wheelchair for more than an hour. I've never had so many women look at me and smile. I overheard a Filipina woman say to her friend in Tagalog, "ang suwerte ng babae" meaning "that lady is lucky". I am sure it was not because I could not walk, but because I was with a wonderful man who did not care to go out on a date with a woman in a wheelchair. Yes, she was right-—I indeed feel lucky to have a caring husband who does his best to make his wife happy.

I'm so glad you have a way to get out and about, and I'm so glad to hear that my brother takes such great care of you. Hang in there -- babies are worth it!!

This is so sweet! Take it easy on yourself, cause I'm sure it will be busy soon enough. Now is not the time to be crazy! Good luck with everything!
