Both Mikelle and Rianne still drop their heart rates and oxygen levels once in a while, so the doctors are keeping them in the hospital for now. The doctors put them on acid reflux medications hoping to help lessen if not eliminate heart rate drops. They are considering of sending them home with apnea monitors. They both are gaining weight. Mikelle is now 5lbs 1oz (2275 grams) and Rianne is 4lbs 4oz (1930 grams). Both passed their hearing tests. They are now 38 weeks gestation, 8 weeks old today. I love visiting them everyday to feed them and do the routine of taking body temperatures, changing diapers and of course cuddling and singing to them. We get to give them baths sometimes as well. I can't wait and I'm looking forward to finally have them home.

Our babies love to make faces, mostly before and after feeding. We tried to catch them on camera. Rianne is in isolation and it is not very easy to take videos. I promise to get some more videos of her to share.

This is Mikelle before bath. Pacifier helps calm her down.

This is Mikelle after her bath and ready for her food.
She normally wakes up 10 minutes before her feeding schedule and does a little crying.
The nurse was warming her milk and so she had to wait a little while. This is her hungry-look.

This is Dad feeding Mikelle.

This is Rianne crying for food. She normally wakes up 15 to 20 minutes before
her feeding schedule. She does know how to tell us that she needs food.

I love the technology to see these wonderful babies, so far away, and yet moving and talking and everything. Hope they can get those heart-rates and everything under control so they can come home soon!

Thanks for posting the videos! They are such sweet little girls. So aside from being in different (labeled) beds, can you tell which one is which by looking at their facial features?

What a relief to see the girls growing and going. Just enjoy every full night's sleep you get before they get home; TRUST ME! Congratulations on your truly lovely little darlings from Auntie Barbara

Paul says of Mikelle "She's a hungry baby!" and of the Rianne video "I think she's sleepy!"

How fun to see them in action. Thanks for sharing this!
